The writer observes that Portimao will be the last chance the Marquez brothers will have to race as teammates. Just sayin’. But the Repsol release sounds a little like, “Move along, nothing to see here…”
Here’s the Crash article.

Well, it appears a third operation is yet more fake news at this point. Coming back at at Portimao I’m sure has it’s allure for him, but I selfishly would like to see more of his crazy front end saves and such, and not see his career end so we can see how the rest of the field stacks up against him, so I’d rather he waited until next year. It’s a huge understatement to say this guy is the competitive type though, but after the second operation I’m sure his handlers are super wary now.
For those who question Antman’s past judgement to return too soon, keep in mind that he’s hardly the only racer who has made that mistake. Doohan foolishly used lowly Dutch National Health doctors for his leg operation because of his desire to return to the action. He was second that year anyway. If not for Dr. Costa, Mick would have become a peg-legged pirate.

They’ll always have Jerez I.
I still hope for at least one more appearance by Marc. I’m not sure it would prove much even if he crushes everyone though- almost everyone on the grid has had such highs and lows that two dominant Marquez, Sr races is no guarantee that Michelin wouldn’t have hosed him during the full season.

Hmm, let’s compare to pictures.
The first picture shows Marc doing “rehab” work.
The second picture shows him watching last week’s Moto GP race.
Do you think his hair looks the same?
If the hair looks different, that would indicate that the “rehab” picture is not recent. If the “rehab” picture is not recent, maybe Marc and HRC are putting up a false front.

Hmm, I posted this before, but it disappeared.
Consider these photos. The first one is purported to be Marc working out, doing rehab. The second one is from last weekend, when he was watching his brother race.
Does his hair look the same? If not, then maybe the “rehab” photo is an old one, and Marc and HRC are trying to pull a fast one.

Boy, does Ducati have a disaster this weekend!
They have six bikes on the grid, six.
NONE of them made it directly to Q2. Unbelievable.
So out of the nine bikes in Q1, six of them were Ducs.
And only Zarco made it to Q2.
Wow.
Good job, Zarco, but wow.

Today’s qualifying was about as weird as last week’s race! NO idea what to expect tomorrow. Well, okay, I’m expecting a Suzuki/Honda 1-2-3-4, but which order? And there’s a very good chance I’ll be dead wrong.

Tomorrow’s grid leaves me with an enormous problem. Taka and Frankie are my two favorite riders. Which one do I cheer for?
I would be thrilled to see Taka on the podium tomorrow. I can’t wait to watch this one!
